Social Enterprise Impact

Planet A Solutions CIC is a registered Social Enterprise, so when you work with us you know that our profits are invested in three key areas:

  • Into local schemes that help protect against climate change
  • Providing support and advice to charities, CICs and community groups
  • Making donations to charities which support decarbonisation globally

When we set up in 2019, the founding Directors decided over a few pints of Cornish cider that the most effective way to mitigate the effects of climate change is by cutting off greenhouse gas emissions at source, and by not being tied to a corporate agenda.

Our aim is not to profiteer off climate change mitigation, but to create an organisation that will support other organisations in their move to decarbonise, by inspiring those who are not currently acting to do so quickly and to consider carbon impact over profit.

As a company our policy is to provide good jobs and promote a healthy work life balance. We want to retain and commit to our team, helping the company and the people to flourish in an uncertain world.

How are we doing this in 2025?

  • We support Parish Councils, Community Organisations and Charities with advice and presentations on how to tackle climate emergency
  • We are enhancing our education, training and skills provision to help upskill other organisations to make impactful and lasting changes.
